Planning for Wealth Management & Transfer.
Flieller, Kruger & Skelton, LLP, has become best known for providing innovative solutions to the unique challenges and opportunities that wealth entails in the areas of tax planning, financial planning, wealth transfer planning, and compliance.
We possess extensive experience as advisors and counselors for high net worth individuals, corporate executives and business owners, their families, and the entities they form to facilitate planning. The latter include closely held business and investment entities, charitable and estate planning trusts, foreign trusts, private foundations, and public charities.
A substantial portion of our practice is dedicated to client needs in the areas of entity structure and organization planning; income tax planning; charitable giving planning; estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning; and non-tax wealth transfer or protection planning.
Our experience extends to advising clients on risk management strategies for concentrated equity positions, including stock option holding and exercise strategies. We also provide analysis of tax consequences for executive compensation and benefits packages.
Business Advisory Services.
In addition to providing general tax planning and compliance services for startups and established companies, Flieller, Kruger & Skelton, LLP, provides advisory services for a range of business issues.
For many smaller companies without a Chief Financial Officer in house, one of our partners functions in essence as a CFO. We assist clients with strategic planning for accounting and financial matters, and we advise on creditor relations, banking relations, inventory management, and cash flow management.
Our services respond to basic business needs as well as major challenges. For instance, we frequently assist in setting up internal accounting systems which clients can operate with their own staff.
We also regularly take on special projects related to meeting tax compliance, structuring debt, planning transactions such as mergers, acquisitions or divestitures, and planning business succession. In addition, we assist clients in establishing the optimal ownership structure of business entities.
